SYBASE - Enterprise Portal Application: Event Broker Training Courseware Development

Objective: Sybase requested that courseware be developed for its strategic enterprise portal product. The courseware would be developed concurrently with the development of the application. The instructional designer would be asked to learn the application, the existing Sybase suite of products, and electronic messaging concepts and standards. Due to Sybase’s commitment to Wall Street and technology industries, the beta courseware would need to be complete within 3 ½ months.

Solutions: The CMM team provided Sybase with technical professionals capable of developing courseware within a rapid application environment. The instructional designers quickly adapted to Sybase’s environment and familiarized themselves with Sybase’s product suite. A comprehensive train-the-trainer course was provided to Sybase in their world headquarters as well as their international offices in Europe.
